• Bronzite is an iron-bearing variety of enstatite distinguished by its green-brown color and bronze-like sub-metallic luster with fibrous inclusions. Enstatite is named after Greek word for "resistor", because it resists high temperatures. Enstatite has been identified in some meteorites.
